Taylor Swift 1989 - Double Vinyl Album

‘1989’ is a touchstone; Taylors songwriting and sonic evolution surprise us more than ever before.

Heavily keyboard and beat-driven, the pop sensibilities that have always been the hallmark of Taylor’s music now move front and centre on ‘1989’, making it Taylor Swifts first ever pop album.

The #1 ARIA album will be available on double vinyl on December 5. The first single ‘Shake It Offs a worldwide smash, landing at #1 on the ARIA Singles Chart (only Taylor’s second #1 single in Australia), ‘Shake It Off’ has now surpassed 3 x platinum sales and well on its way of achieving quadruple platinum and beyond! Over her 4 previous albums, Taylor Swift has sold more than 754k physical albums in Australia!

The previous album ‘Red’spent 3 consecutive weeks at #1, is certified 3 x platinum and spawned mega-hits ‘We Are Never Getting Back Together (5 x Platinum) and ‘I Knew You Were Trouble (6 x Platinum). Her RED Tour in 2013 made Taylor Swift the first female to headline an Australia Stadium Tour since Madonna.

Taylor is the only female artist in music history (and just the fourth artist ever) to twice have an album (2010s Speak Now and 2012s RED) hit the 1 million-plus first-week sales figure. ‘Speak Now’ was a 2 x Platinum ARIA #1 Album, and followed up from her 6 x Platinum ARIA #2 Album ‘Fearless’.
